RETURNS AND EXCHANGES POLICY FOR V AND W LIQUOR

At V and W Liquor, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. However, due to strict California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) regulations, our ability to accept returns on alcoholic beverages is very limited.
By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Alcohol Sales are Generally Final As a general rule, all sales of alcoholic beverages are final. California law prohibits us from accepting returns for cash, credit, or exchange simply because a customer changed their mind, bought the wrong item, or has leftover product from an event. Please choose your items carefully.
2. Defective or Spoiled Products ("Corked" Wine) If you believe you have purchased a product that is defective, spoiled, or "corked," we will do our best to make it right, subject to verification:
Time Frame: You must return the bottle within [e.g., 7 days] of purchase.
Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt is required for all claims.
Product Condition: The bottle must be returned with at least [e.g., two-thirds] of the contents remaining for us to verify the defect. We cannot accept empty bottles.
Management Approval: All defective product claims are subject to approval by store management.
If a product is confirmed defective, we will replace it with the same item. If unavailable, we may offer an exchange for an item of equal value or a store credit at our discretion.
3. Non-Alcohol Merchandise For items like mixers, sodas, or snacks:
Unopened Items: Unopened and undamaged items may be returned for a full refund or exchange within [e.g., 14 days] of purchase with a receipt.
Perishable Goods: Returns are not accepted on perishable food items unless defective or expired at the time of sale.
4. Store Errors If you receive an incorrect item due to our error, please notify us immediately. We will correct the mistake by exchanging it for the correct item, provided the incorrect item is returned unopened and in original condition.
